English-ness

It doesn’t get much more English than this:

Newsstand manager Paul Heath says, “Punters in the pub opposite find it highly amusing watching the greedy blighter make off with my crisps. So I took them off the bottom two shelves which I thought would fox him.”

Lolz.

Well, hello there.

Time for another post.

Don’t be scared. You should be happy.

Yeah, that’s it! Got any other smooth moves?

Watch out! Steven Seagal is on the loose!

Oh noes…

Damn Tornadoes

When I turned on the news this weekend and heard about the tornadoes that ripped through the Midwest and South, the first thing I thought was, “Damn, I wish I had some chips to go with this sandwich.”

On a more related note, the second thing I thought was, “Oh noes!! The Soak of the Year’s readers could be in trouble! ZOMG!!!”

Thankfully our readers are all okay (I think), so time to stop worrying and get back to making fun of the less fortunate. Huzzah!

Laugh at this fool and then curse the wind that takes sustenance from our hands.

Musical Genius

There’s an article posted today on Slate titled “The Greatest Musical Satirists of Their Generation” and it’s about the genius of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park (amongst other things).

The article lauds the duo’s songs and notes, “South Park…has one of the most memorable songbooks of any film made in the last 20 years.” As a coup de grace, a link to my personal favorite is posted. Watch below and laugh your ass off.
